1995
After three years as Beauty Assistant on magazines including Harpers & Queen, Cosmopolitan, and SHE, Suzanne moves to Zest Magazine as Beauty Editor, a specialist health and beauty magazine with a focus on healthy minds and bodies.
A Day in the Life of an Ethnobotanist
1996
Suzanne was meeting the experts who were blazing a chemical-free, planet-friendly trail long before it was cool. Canoeing up the green river in Utah with an Ethnobotanist on a quest to find a cure for cancer was not unusual.
Miss World
1998
Suzanne flies to the Caribbean to cover the 'healthier' Miss World for Zest Magazine.
‘New Woman’ Naked without Mascara
1998
Suzanne joins New Woman as Beauty Editor and bares it all (convincing her counterparts to do the same), making it clear that she has obviously been practising what she preaches. This story makes national headlines.
Suzanne Joins ‘Cosmopolitan’

As Britney Spears was riding high on the success of her debut single, Suzanne was poached to be the Beauty Director of Cosmopolitan, becoming the youngest writer to have held this post.

As Publishers realise what Suzanne knew years before, that people want more from their holidays than sight-seeing (now being touted as ‘Wellness Travel’). The Sunday Times appoints Suzanne to the role of, Spa Editor, in a completely new focus for them because they realise she knows her scrubs from her hot stone massage.

Suzanne is now a regular guest on the couch with Lorraine on LK Today on GMTV. A firm favourite with Lorraine and her millions of viewers, Suzanne goes on to become the longest-running health & beauty expert on Lorraine and GMTV.
‘Good Housekeeping’

Suzanne gets the call from Good Housekeeping to be their Beauty Director, enabling her to amplify her beauty and wellness message across the British heartland.
Jasmine Visual Award

Suzanne wins the prestigious Jasmine Visual Award - the first time Good Housekeeping had been nominated in this category.
LBC Radio

Suzanne and then boyfriend (now husband), Andy Friedlander, get their own radio show on LBC. A dinner party style gossip show exploring everything from art and religion to health and beauty.
Brand Consulting

Suzanne begins consulting for brands and advertising agencies such as L'Oreal, Unilever, Boots the Chemist, Elemis, as well travel industry including as high-end spas in Austria, drawing on her years in the industry to spread the wellness holiday message.
Woodnymph of the Trees

Suzanne poses as a Wood Nymph for an article on nature and scent, personifying fertility and the natural world. Her re-wilding journey had well and truly begun.
‘Tatler Spa Guide’

Suzanne is hired by Tatler as Spa Guide Editor, sending celebrities and comedians like Miranda Hart and Claudia Winkleman to spa locations around the world to tell us what they think of their experience. She edits the next six guides.
Wellness in the Maldives

Suzanne commences work on the spa and wellness concept for Luxury Resort and Spa, Amilla Fushi in the Maldives and their sister property, Finolhu.
Suzanne's launches her own natural health and beauty platform
